One example: I was tasked to watch a Youtube video for my French course and got caught by surprise with every single item auto-translated (poorly) by AI - and could only disable with a Firefox extension bc Google made the option to disable very hard and confusing to find

well that explains (in part) why I've seen so many "use my AI" buttons pop at every corner or it being stealthily added to the tools I use, even when I don't need or want them
