pretty terrible for all that investment to go unused but can you explain (ask sincerely) how voters "voted" for this? What policy shifted the jobs?

I was going to comment exactly this. The original American dream was largely govt subsidized. This new version however is 100% capitalist privilege

Amazon is soo tough. But I've heard a lot of people say the same as you, self included. I hope even the decrease in purchases is making a dent.

It is different now. Some good, some bad. I'm sure for a short visit it felt odd and strange. But if you were back longer and could be with your people it would be better.

i was telling him how i planned to move to LA from Texas to really pursue acting. And he gave me the advice that it would take 3 years before anything would happen for me in LA. it was good advice & he was right in the end. but i was so frustrated because i felt like he could do something right NOW!

i have the perfect story for this honestly.i was pursuing acting and had landed a feautured extra role in Robert Rodriguez movie that allowed me to work for like 65 days so I really got to know cast and crew. Quentin Tarantino took a liking to me. One day after a night shoot we went out to breakfast

i did a hot yoga class in NYC in fall/winter of 2015 the instructor playlist always had a hiphop vibe. one class retrograde came on in the middle of a really challenging flow and i damn near broke down in tears.

before we moved back in 2020 I swore I'd never live in Houston again. Then I did and loved it. Hoping I feel the same again when we go back.
