The late great Snoopy. A fine, clever cat who we lost too soon aged 7, in 2016. Still miss him, we loved him a lot and he rewarded us with lap time, ‘presents’ and intelligent conversation.

Strategically placed cat scratching posts works for me. Remove when guests come round otherwise they wonder why you have quite so many spread about… but it does save the sofas!
