We need to ELIMINATE the Republican party and implement a system that they cannot manipulate. No more Senate. No more EC. No more presidential nominations for SCOTUS, and no more lifetime appointments. Publicly-funded elections. Enshrined equal rights.

So much of the underlying structure of our government was created to preserve slavery. The Senate exists because slave states needed guarantees of equal power. The Electoral College, too. These relics of slavery are the very tools the GOP has been weaponizing against the American people since Nixon.

It's not as crazy as it sounds. There have been 40 countries that have written and ratified new constitutions in my lifetime - that's about 1 in 5 countries in the world. There were tons created post-WWII.
The US Constitution was revolutionary when it was written, but that was 250 years ago.

It's not just about paying for public services like firefighters or police. Privatization of public services doesn't change the fact that the public at-large contributed to every digit in your bank account. It just means we aren't investing in the system that makes it possible for them to do so.
