I also wish I could go see them perform Like Water For Chocolate live. That was one of my favorites from their streaming service!

You could adapt this book "Maya and Natasha." I haven't read it yet (just published this year!) but it's about ballet dancers trying to get positions in the Kriov in the 50's. They're twins too! You could Lindsay Lohan it!

I also draw from time to time. Aren't references great? You can also check the Instas/TikToks of pro dancers. They'll have a lot of good pics and vids for more references if you need it.

Ideally, both should be at least an hour / hour and fifteen, especially Intermediate. 45 doesn't allow for a full barre and center work.

Why only 45 minutes for ballet? It's supposed to be an hour and a half.

Lovely work! I appreciate that you drew the pointe shoe ribbons correctly. So many people get that wrong.

My teachers never make anyone do anything they're not ready for and are big on checking to make sure we're using our muscles right. You should be fine as long as you have qualified teachers (and listen to them.)

Ballet will only "destroy" your body if you're taught by unqualified teachers who don't instruct their students how to use their muscles properly to dance safely and/or put people en pointe before they're ready. As long as you or your child go to a reputable school, ballet is perfectly safe.
