Made it through two back to back classes after being away a week and a half. My legs are going to sore for the next few days, all the way through my next set of back to back classes.

Ballet is still worth doing as a hobby, even if you "lack talent" to go pro. You can still perform and enjoy the art form recreationally. Keep doing it if you want to, keep letting your kids have fun.

Ballet is too expensive to continue investing money in after a certain age when your child doesn’t have the talent. Please be realistic with your little people and save your coins and their little bodies.

When I told the plumber I'm not a teacher and the ballet barre is for occasional extra (basic) practice and stretching he said "Oh, you do it as a hobby!"
Like, he didn't even need to see me dancing to know I'm not a pro. I'm laughing, but damn...I don't even give off pro vibes!

It was kinda painful opening my first pilot to make edits, updates and name changes while waiting for feedback on my second. I'm glad I did but it was definitely one of those "rip the band-aid off and just do it" moments.
