Because of my prior career in global manufacturing where I saw the excess and waste, and now working with veterans experiencing homelessness, I don’t add things to my life unless I am really sure it fills a specific use. I also love the brand’s mission of helping women and children in India.

We visited the Minnesota Discovery Center while a holiday small business fair was underway. My day culminated with a holiday parade in downtown Virginia. I also discovered that my sister-in-law grew up only a handful of miles from Steve, and they attended high school together.

I learned about how mining technology has evolved over the years, how the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board (IRRRB) has used state taxes on taconite production for economic development in the region, and what mining land can become once reclaimed.
