Third stop on Small Business Saturday Heidi’s Growhaus in Corcoran. I bought a winter plant for my porch. They are serving hot cider and Christmas cookies, and there’s a bonfire to warm up while shopping the wares outside!

@thewoodsgifts was my 2nd small business Saturday stop. I have six nephews, and thanks to The Woods, I found something for four of the boys, making some serious Christmas shopping progress just this afternoon!

My first stop on Small Business Saturday was Mama’s Happy, a newer shop on Main Street in Maple Grove. I finally found a nice backpack purse! I have been looking for a bag like this for years.

My gym @crossfitunastamus does hero wods every Saturday. Today was the Colson in honor of Det. Jacai Colson who was killed in the line of duty March 13, 2016. A very challenging workout, great for the Saturday after Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Across the table. Across the aisle. Grateful for your support.

I am saddened to hear two WV National Guard soldiers were shot in DC. When an American takes the oath to serve, they recognize & understand the risks. They serve because they love this country. Nothing can make up for the deep losses our service members & their families experience.

Thank you, Biwabik Mayor Steve Biondich, for a fantastic tour of the Iron Range Saturday! We had many stops in Eveleth, Virginia, Biwabik, Chisholm, Hibbing, and Gilbert.

I started my morning with the DFL Women’s Power breakfast where former Senator Heidi Heitkamp from my home state of ND gave the keynote (virtually). Always great to be in the presence of strong women!

It was an honor to give the keynote at the Allied Charities of Minnesota conference in Duluth Friday night and hold space with people who give so much to their communities.

I am in Duluth at the Allied Charities of Minnesota annual conference. For years I have been fighting alongside ACM at the state capitol for tax cuts to charitable gambling revenues. Charities are in every community in MN. They do so much good. Looking forward to speaking at the dinner this evening!

Veterans Day Message from Kristy Janigo and Mark Legvold for MN Senate

After we take our uniforms off, service doesn't end. That's why I am running for state senate in SD37. And I'm happy to be joined by Mark Legvold, a veteran who is running for state senate in SD58, on our journey to St. Paul.

I had a wonderful time today celebrating the Highway 610 ribbon cutting with friends and colleagues. The completion of this project spanned multiple decades and was made possible with funding from all levels of government.

As we prepare to honor veterans tomorrow, remember our freedom comes at a cost. Not a single person who served is the same as they were before. The military changes how you think, even how you carry yourself.

I attended the @magnusveteransfoundation Veterans Appreciation Lunch and caught up with friends I had not seen in a while. For me, every day is Veterans Day as I fight for the benefits and rights of veterans in need. It was nice to be in fellowship with brothers and sisters in arms

I had some work to do at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center today and checked out the construction site for the Women’s Clinic which is showing great progress. I cannot wait for our lady vets to have access to this resource upon its opening!

Congratulations to St Paul Mayor-Elect Khaoly Her! I have been a fan for a long time and made several committee stops with her as a veterans advocate in support of various bills. She will have the backs of St Paul veterans and will be a fantastic mayor!
