Yup. It was a very old bear that had been breaking into cabins. After we got outta there and back to the truck, we heard him trying to get into a bear-proof trash can. Dan wanted to go back and look at him, but I told him to sit his butt *down* in the truck. 🤣🤣🤣

Wolf scat, down in Slana a few years ago. There was also a bear — a big old smart bear that let us walk right by him without realizing he was there until we saw his tracks crossed ours on the way back. 😬 I think I also have a pic of that. Will look.

Yes. When I’m stressed, these kinds of images flash through my brain with no control — weeks, months, decades later. I can’t unsee and can’t unstore them.

I’ll just say it put me in the bed. But still feel lucky I could get it. I’ll wait a few days to find the Covid booster. 🤣

Had mine with a flu shot Thursday and dang. Knocked me on my butt. And yeah, it did sting. Totally worth it, tho, no matter how punky I feel. I’m a good bit older and have been lucky but no longer want to tempt fate. Wanted to get my Covid booster but Bassett doesn’t have them. 🫤
