The WHO and the EU also have processes for figuring out which strains to include in the annual flu vaccines, which the US could borrow from. The significant here is that the US govt is signaling to flu manufacturers that it is not interested in a seasonal flu vaccine.

HHS employees have received multiple conflicting emails from leadership. DOJ and State said don’t reply. SSA, GSA, Treasury, FDIC, VA were told to respond. Total mess.
