If Bluesky seems dead or low activity on your end it might be that you haven't yet made the most of its design. It's different from Twitter in some key ways so you have to interact differently. I'm writing these tips below from my non-techy perspective, techies please weigh in if I get things wrong:

It’s somehow deeply weird that you can take a camera with a nice but normal-sized zoom lens, point it at space, click the button, and take pictures of other planets. They’re apparently just RIGHT THERE??

A thing I’ve noticed since joining bluesky is about 90% of images are alt texted, all because of a simple prompt explaining what it is and why it is needed. I like it here.
