I’m Editor in Chief for the Journal of Addictions and Offender Counseling. First business item, changing the name to remove stigmatizing language. Would love thoughts on the criminal ‘justice’ piece. The journal includes research for counselors working with addictions and/or justice involved folx.

I understand how unjust the 'justice' system is. We're in a bind because the journal has to cover both areas, which can intersect but not always. I argue that having these areas in one journal reinforces the stigma, but I can’t change that part. Thank you for any help
