I haven't always been a penguin, I've also been at @usask.ca / WCVM / & as a lab tech, at MPI-Marburg / @stockholm-uni.bsky.social / growing Caulobacter, at @ki.se / as a virology posdoc--& now back at @scilifelab.se in uncharted territory!

Incredible talk from @datarescueproject.org & @kthlibrary.bsky.social on preservation of public data through conflict, war, and chaos.

Did you know they did a #citizenscience project to photograph interpretive signs across U.S. national parks, preserving an archive of this threatened knowledge?

Our takeaway was to use prompts and see how it works in bioinformatics lessons :)
Enhancing learning from online video lectures: the impact of embedded learning prompts in an undergraduate physics lesson - Journal of Computing in Higher Education
Use of online video lectures is increasingly common. However, students may struggle to self-regulate their attention and passively process the content. This study examined whether, and for whom, diffe...

What does belonging in STEM look like – and who gets to decide? This question sparked Code Couture: Breaking the STEM Dress Code, a visual arts project that explores how gender, appearance, and clothing intersect with perceptions of credibility and inclusion in science and tech. 🧪
