If not for the numbers I definitely could've gotten a few more years out of this, but two decades really isn't bad.

My encounter with this illustrated (graphic-novel-style? I'm never quite sure what to call this medium-genre combo) memoir was unexpected; I hastily added it to our library stack on our way out. I'm so glad it found me!

Rainy summer days are good for reading. T swiped my Kent State book and F is on Crooked Kingdom (sequel to Six of Crows).

I think you don't usually read romance but you might enjoy Man Vs Durian by Jackie Lau (one of my favorite authors). It's 3rd in a series but that's only relevant if you care about minor spoilers for 1 & 2, it stands alone well. It has a new cover now but I love this original one

I save them with numbers so they show up neatly together at the end of my Contacts. I use state and congressional districts, and for Senators I use the year they will next run for re-election.

We live on a corner so we used to have 2 Harris Walz yard signs. They were stolen on separate days. But I have markers and I WILL use them!!

Long Live Evil came HIGHLY recommended and it is fully living up to the hype. I am on page 132 and mad that real life keeps getting in my way, preventing me from gulping it down in one sitting.

I'm learning to play piano. (figure sitting behind upright piano) It's MUCH easier to play loud notes than quiet ones. (treble staff, two simple measures) f "forte" means loudly, p "piano" means softly My lesson books often say to play the pieces f then p. (Left hand pressing one key of a piano with index finger) I'm working on gentleness.
