I loved working on this game (at least the English dub/script), so I’m thrilled that you enjoyed it!! The reviews haven’t been… loving, but some folks are really clicking with it, which is great to see.

Legitimately, when we got to dub BBTAG, I was holding out hope that I might be able to re-adapt CF’s script and get it dubbed. I know the actors love those characters, and I think the fans want it too! Sadly, I’m just a freelancer and don’t get to make those calls. (I’m sure it isn’t cheap, too.)

The ending terrified and fascinated me as a kid. What a weird reward for beating such a tough game!

Especially when the best part of Lost Odyssey is the text-only bits.

There was a game I played a looooong time ago that had this issue in the first line and it put a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the game.

I know it’s a me thing, but using the right hardware feels like using the right controller. There’s a satisfying weight to playing something on what it was meant for.

Oh hey, I beat PSIV for the first time this year too! I’m still amazed they managed to make it look the way they did on the base Genesis hardware. Excellent game.

Did you ever watch the 4K special feature that’s essentially the pre-CG cut of the film? It’s a trip, but it also shows that he really knows what he’s doing from start to finish.
