I'm listening to "Educated" by Tara Westover at the moment. It's an autobiography about a woman who grew up in a mormon family and lived in the mountains of Idaho. Her dad didn't believe in public school but she was still able to get a PhD. It's a great read/listen so far. 😀

My late great aunt had polio as well when she was 6. She survived but had to wear leg braces for the rest of her life. She didn't let it stop her from living her life but I know she would be SO upset about people inviting this serious illness back. Why do people want to go through that again?!
