Passover seder. ❤️
Our Passover seder: smoked lamb with "bitter herbs" (garlic mustard leaves) and matzoh (unleavened bread) as the Israelites ate before leaving Egypt, baked apples to represent the mortar used to build Egyptian structures during captivity, eggs, representing Spring and rebirth, salt water for the many tears shed, an orange for the struggles of the LGBTQ+ and their place in Jewish culture, and our own addition of ramen noodles, a food my youngest decided represents how God's Word has expanded around the world.
