Colorado EV report 1/7/2026: The steadily rising number of EVs on the road has slowed to a near halt in the months following the removal of the tax credit. Some evidence of buy-ahead in prior months. Watch for impact of new inexpensive Leaf and Bolt in coming months.
Chart shows monthly increase in EVs on road in Boulder County, Colorado. Between January 2024 and October 2025 the increase ranged from 300 to 900 vehicles, lumpy between months. November to January less than 100. The percentage of EVs on the road rose steadily from 5% to 9%, flattening the last three months. Not everything I do is data analysis. Here's my stay-way-from-infections #halloween distribution system. The audio track disturbed visitors more than last year's seven foot wide spider did.

For me, the audio only plays if I open the video in a new tab. Seems to be a relatively common issue. YMMV.
