Don’t pay to get published.
Don’t pay for book reviews.
Real agents won’t charge you a cent.
Real publishers don’t make you pay for anything.
Don’t submit to markets that don’t pay.

All of those studies were conducted before the DSM-5 was released. You seriously think that decades-old studies prove your point? Modern research shows very clear benefits with better standards and understanding of the subject. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...

Hmm, listen to anonymous on social media, or the @mayoclinic.org 🤔
Tough choice.

“GnRH analogues don't cause permanent physical changes. Instead, they pause puberty.

When a person stops taking GnRH analogues, puberty starts again.”

Need a sign? This is it. Some encouragement? Listen, you got this. I’ve told you: Bigfoot and I believe in you. Need the opposite kind? Death is coming, so stop fucking around and do the thing. Need some motivation? You can get a snack after. Now go do the thing.

Conserving our environment is an American value. From hikers to hunters we want to keep our public lands public! Thats why the unprecedented sell-off of millions of acres of public lands needs to be removed from the Senate Budget Bill.

Nature is non partisan! 🇺🇸

Pass it on!

I know it probably wouldn't have fit tonally, but a crossover between Murder She Wrote & Golden Girls would've been LEGENDARY!

I think something that needs to be acknowledged is that a source having a leaning/potential bias doesn't automatically invalidate the points it's making; biases don't inherently prevent objectivity, it just depends on the source, what leaning they have, and the traits of said leaning.

mainstream media, your math ain't mathin'
mainstream said definitively by sundown on the U.S. east coast,

5M people protested Saturday

…really?

organizers had over 2000 protest events scheduled; let’s do reckless math

5M / 2000 = 2,500 people per protest

so, how many locations do you think had more than 2,500?

Boston alone boasted 1M

I'm thinking I may put my debut novel on the back-burner and try dipping more into the essayist aspect of my skillset to break into self-publishing.

While I do prefer writing fiction, argumentative essays are ultimately my bread and butter, just hope I don't accidentally pigeonhole myself

Of course asking someone what genitals they had at birth is a breach of the right to privacy. They’re called “private parts” not “private unless you suspect the person is transgender and then be as invasive as you want parts”

Now for the most controversial post I've ever written:

Pineapple actually isn't that bad on pizza. Like, I really don't prefer it, but it isn't that bad. It's kinda like mixing fries with a milkshake, not to everyone's taste but the contrast makes a nice flavor if you wanna try it

Anyone else find it odd that campaigns on Christian values never seek to illegalize Adultery but want to remove no-fault divorce? Adultery is a sin so bad people needed to be commanded to not do it, and such campaigns barely address it. The hypocrisy is depressing but not unsurprising

I was never hurt by a trans person in the bathroom.

I was hurt at 15 when I realized so many adults care more about having guns and getting rid of vaccines than keeping their kids alive.
June 18, 2025 at 4:17 AM
Do not say you care about kids if you think getting rid of free school lunches is a boon.

Do not say you care about kids if you'd prefer they be in foster care than have gay parents.

Do not say you care about kids if you cheer when a trans kid is killed or dies by suicide.

As someone who takes a general interest in history, I'd like to refute something I see people say:

No, LGBT does not cause the end of societies. Greed, war, and instability do. LGBT has been around since human civilization and always will be no matter how many slurs you shovel into Jesus' mouth
June 18, 2025 at 3:57 AM
I need bigots to understand that "90% are sexually abused as kids" is both inaccurate and doesn't support your argument simply because a lot of children suffer CSA and don't come out LGBT. The implication that CSA shapes sexuality is wrong and harmful to all CSA victims

Teaching myself about spiritual fun facts has kinda ruined horror movies for me in the funniest way.

Upside-down Cross? You didn't blaspheme you rang up Saint Peter's office phone.

Drew a Pentacle? You didn't make a portal you just set out an Unwelcome Mat for evil spirits

You know that cool thing you do that pisses off the fascists? The stuff that gets you angry 1-star reviews about the Spanish in your book or too many fucks or because it’s “too gay” or “woke” or “too gory” or too dirty or political or whatever? Familia, do that harder than ever.
