At least games like Bravely Default and a lot of other roguelite deckbuilder snd strategy games show that there’s still plenty of demand for them with lots of strategy as well.

Ya I mean there is the ‘classic’ battle system even on normal mode too in Rebirth (maybe patched in Remake too?) but it’s not the same.

I still haven’t started my copy of rebirth yet (only played demo), or even played integrand after beating remake. They’re nice games with good production values, but feel kind of.. bloated and drawn out to me? That and the whole shift to more real time combat was kind of meh to me.

So, ya, expanded editorial would be nice to see. Going to start it playing it tonight after enjoying DQ3 HD-2DR last year.

I liked it, good review! I have a few nitpicks and small disagreements with some points, partly because I don’t the ye olde English there, especially how it referenced the old worlds like in the other localizations, though the overly flowery language they use for the localization of some choices.
