My teacher told a story in class that Mr. Fahrenheit went outside during winter and tought "this must be the coldest possible weather. I put it as 0." Then he went back inside and said "normal body temperature shall be 100." But he got sick while he was out so now 100 is "bit feverish"

Okay so it goes by the "half of half of half..." -logic which is pretty understandable but still difficult when I'm used to think in decimals.
For example 15oz would be 15/16th of a pound but there's no numbers in my head to tell me how much that is.
Google it's ~425g which I understand immediately.

Fahrenheits are also pretty difficult. Usually I just google it.

As a metrics user I can usually do some mental calculations to convert freedoms to metrics and get rough estimates what they mean for pretty much all most common units exept for ounces.
I have absolutely no consept how to use them. Sometimes they are weight and sometimes volume. Who knows. Not me.
