Kai is just a dog, lying in the snow, head up, alert, and asking you with those expressive eyes "Why are you not hiking/snowshoeing/throwing a stick? Why are you just standing taking pictures?"

John Novak was my thesis supervisor when I was working on my M.Ed. This book was transformational for me. It confirmed my lived experience as a teacher and became my go to book for initiating conversations with teachers struggling with their classes when I was an administrator.

Lake Huron / Bruce Peninsula have the best sunsets! This is looking west from the Flowerpot Island Light House Station.

Finally a great BBQ place in #Guelph. It's called Ward 1 BBQ. We had brisket, ribs, chicken, and wings, coleslaw, and beans. Everything yummy!#food 🍜

Just wanted you to meet Kai (part Malinois part G Shepherd). He is high energy, too smart for his own good, loves to swim...but can chill when necessary (well, only after at least a 3 hour workout!)
Dog that is filthy dirty from nose to toes after digging in a muddy stream Dog looking at you with a "what's taking you so long?" look despite already hiking for 3 hours. Dog lying half upside down trying to make you think he's relaxed but really he just wants you to pick up the ball beside him. Dog completely dead asleep after a clearly busy day, however the chuck-it stick near his nose is there just in case someone still wants to play fetch with him.
