In these troubling times, a little dog goes a long way. We must never underestimate the power of small fuzzy beings.

Minnie the (mostly) chihuahua and I share strong opinions and a limited ability to contain them. But we do try to be polite.
But what if the whole Epstein thing is just a distraction from something even deeper? Like, what if, while I’m all focused on Epstein’s list, Trump is secretly sneaking into my kitchen and dipping his greasy little fingers into all my condiments or something? He’s crafty.

I try really hard to see a good outcome, but somehow he dodges every bullet (even the staged ones) and slips by unscathed every time. Too hard to get my hopes up any more…

Would this office come with its own massive army? Because Trump has one of his own, and it's pretty big. I can't imagine any kind of enforcement would be possible without one at this point. Haven't we already conclusively proven that laws no longer matter here? Or am I being too gloomy?

They seem to have gone well past rounding up people who are sneaking across the border.

My fear: what happens to ICE when the job is done and everyone on their list is deported? Do they all retire and move on? Or does the job description change to something even less savory? They’re feeling more and more like an occupying force.

What terrifies me even more are all the people going about their business while feeling overjoyed by what’s happening, and there are a staggering number of them. We’re a shockingly hateful nation.

I feel like I’m in some bizarro universe where the house we’re in is on fire and about to collapse on top of us, but we’re still obsessing about whether or not the pork chops we had last week were under seasoned.

It just baffles me how so many millions of Americans are brainless enough to still approve of this gibbering moron. As a species, I think we might be pretty hopeless.

There’s no way Noem’s not a skinjob. Probably Miller too, I’ll bet.

I can’t imagine a life without a constant stream of new hobbies, and I’m fortunate to be surrounded by friends and family with the same inclination. People without hobbies seem unnatural to me, like they lack curiosity or a sense of adventure.

Exactly this! We wouldn’t be in the shit we’re in now if everything was going just great before Trump.

I know it's just my juvenile mind working overtime, but whenever I hear him mention Biden's "overhang" I imagine it's got something to do with tea bagging.

Even here in MA I get that vibe when I’m around “his folk”. They think they’re the real grownups, and all of the rest of us are living in some fantasy world where laws, empathy and human rights matter. They truly think they want a world where only the tough survive. But they’re not that tough!

I think we’re still dangerously underestimating how many people here LOVE him and continue to think he’s leading us to some messed up sort of glory. This rot runs way deeper than Trump and won’t go away quietly.

There's no way he used the word "calamitous" correctly in a sentence. Someone else wrote this.

I know I’m pretty juvenile, but whenever I hear “Under His eye” my brain instinctively responds with “Up His ass.” I’d be on the wall on day 1 for sure.

I think we WERE in one. Now we’re in a post-American disaster that’s just moving too slowly (for now) for most people to see it happening.
