Further "violations" (if "committed" within a year) will bear criminal liability, leading to up to 2 years' imprisonment. So I'm looking forward to becoming a convict!

A court in Moscow tried me in absentia for not submitting reports of my "foreign agent" activities to the Ministry of Justice and fined me 30,000 RUB ($400). Next week, they'll try me again for not turning myself in as a "foreign agent".

And this is how ChatGPT imagined a trial of a foreign agent.

Of course, I ignore these demands: they are unlawful and stupid. European Court of Human Rights has issued multiple judgments stating that this law violates rights to freedom of expression & association and to privacy. But the Kremlin doesn't care.

And today, Russian "justice" caught up with me.

"Terrorism suspects" are also treated even harsher than any others. Torture, incommunicado detention and trials in military courts behind closed doors are nearly guaranteed. No suspended sentences, almost no chances for parole and 0 acquittals over the last 10 years.

Even mere reference to Navalny in a positive or neutral way might be interpreted as "justification of terrorism" (up to 7 years in prison), while failure to turn in your friend to FSB for sympathizing with FBK will be the crime of "non-reporting" (1 year).

It doesn't matter that there is no evidence of FBK's involvement in anything even remotely resembling terrorism. Russian "anti-terrorism" laws are as vague as they are harsh. Any support for or association with FBK will become a crime with terms up to 20 years in prison.

This is the very "sellout of Ukraine" people warned about even before Trump was elected. He planned it all long time ago. 5/5

Ukraine will have to choose between surrender and continuing the fight without US help (including Starlink). Washington may even threaten Kyiv with sanctions (for example "to ensure payment for American aid") to put more pressure. 4/5

So Trump has manufactured a pretext to stop aid and to blame it on Ukraine. Next step: full-scale rapprochement with Russia, gradual lifting of sanctions, resuming of economic cooperation. 3/5

I wrote on Facebook 2 weeks ago: "If (when) Ukraine rejects the deal, Putin and Trump will of course blame Kyiv (and maybe the EU) for it. The US will then feel free to stop any assistance to Ukraine while going to business as usual with Moscow." 2/5
