I genuinely love EH and I think #nufc should be outliers in terms of keeping a manager on despite a poor run of games. Hopefully results will start to turn and our CL form is still strong.

I love Eddie Howe, he’s up there with BR & KK…but it does feel like he’s taken this squad as far as he can. It’s a combination of issues - poor recruitment (in & out), changes in the boardroom, PSR etc but it’s also about tactics, team selection and how EH sets them up when playing away. #nufc

Whether you like it or not, Howe is on the brink here. It’s going bad very quickly, they are no better than the current bottom three. #nufc

I really don’t know what it is about #nufc at the moment. They are just awful to watch away from home. We are winning but I can’t see us taking 3 points if we continue to play this poorly.

This year the PL is much more competitive. Teams like Man Utd and Spurs have improved. Chelsea too. Brighton, Bournemouth and Palace are all contenders for Europe. Man City are back. #nufc look like one of the weakest squads.

Today is massive. Lose it and we have Man City up next. Lose both and it’s possible that we could be in the bottom three. It’s make or break for #nufc

Exactly as predicted. Gordon will miss Brentford but play for England. IMO he has been managing his fitness in order to play for England. His priorities are not at #nufc
Squad announcement for the final England internationals coming up on the 7th. If Gordon really is injured then surely he won’t join the squad, right? 🤔 I suspect he will make himself available for England selection but not for #nufc against Brentford. That should tell you where his focus lies.

This is obvious. Tonali would get into any side on the planet, he should be competing for titles. We are nowhere near that level due to PSR. He goes in the summer and you can’t blame him. #nufc

Can we talk about Gordon? What’s happened to him? I have to question his mentality, the amount of times he gets these little injuries but is available for the next game….?! I think he’s preoccupied with England selection. To the point where he pretends to be injured if he’s having a shocker #nufc

A good win for #nufc but for me the CL is just a distraction. It’s the PL where we need these kind of performances. I fully expect them to go to Brentford and put in a typically lacklustre display. Would be nice if they proved me wrong.

Woeful. Can Toon fans stop going on about our “Rolls Royce” defence, they are shipping goals all over the shop. This squad has gone backwards and will finish in 14th or 15th place. Also, Sunderland will destroy us. #nufc

This is as bad as I’ve seen #nufc play since Bruce. I have no interest in watching a squad that can’t be motivated to perform away from home. They need to hold fire on any new deals for players as they don’t deserve them

Another classic away performance from #nufc just awful. They have a real mentality issue and can’t get motivated unless it’s in the cup or Europe. They’ll finish in the bottom half of the PL this year.
