Something extremely terrible happened when we also started aligning our politics with Internet personalities. I think it is very insane for people to be basically going to war for these guys over what they said about each other on a podcast.

Funny enough, the movies (imo) are actually a lot better than the books because the movie writers were smart enough to cut all the freakish fatphobia/pro-slavery stuff out. The books are bizarrely hateful.

I’m gonna be real if my friends or family were being held as hostages I wouldn’t give a rat’s ass about the particulars of them being released. And I certainly wouldn’t want their release delayed to make sure the decorum was in order.

Realistically the only opportunity for this is if the Democrat party itself fractures/splits. Which imo would only happen opportunistically if the Republicans split as well.

Okay, so assuming that Biden and Trump are equal on Gaza, and clearly Trump is worse in the sense of rescinding civil rights for Americans, etc, etc, how exactly is it 'tricked' to support Biden between the two? Seems totally logical still, I'm not seeing the other side of this point.

My main concern when voting was to prevent trump from getting in office because he is more outspokenly in favor of eradicating palestinians. So where do I fall in all of this?
