I don't understand why any country is willing to allow flights to the US. Seriously, I don't—I'm not exaggerating. I cannot fathom why countries aren't telling their citizens/residents that it is not safe to travel to the US and cease flights here.

And, lo, the farm animals come up to that nice human who brings them food every day and asks nothing from them. They love him. They know he is watching out for them, and nothing bad will ever, ever happen to them. The MAGAts don't even get that daily ration and yet act the same.

Not unless the Senate can conjure up some spin wherein they start with declaring that Trump is the greatest human to ever live, and then allow only testimony in support of that conclusion. So, only those crimes committed by Hegseth that "prove" Trump is perfect in all things would be discussed.

But the important thing is that, at some point, he flattered Trump (or gave him money, which is much the same thing to Trump). Lo, if one should please Trump with one's fawning, all is forgiven. In the MAGAt realm, worshiping Trump is the greatest and only good.

Leavitt is one of those truly frustrating dissimulators. With a good liar, one just takes the opposite of what they say and knows it is the truth. Leavitt sometimes lies in that way. More often, though, her falsehoods are so divorced from reality that they aren't factual enough to count as a lie.

And, for that matter, Article 92 (as well as relevant court rulings thereupon) of the UCMJ actually REQUIRES refusing illegal orders. Mind, I doubt Trump, his goons, and their sycophants on Fox have ever heard of the UCMJ.
