I make things in YY-CHR and otherwise, mainly hacks of various old and new games. My largest projects include making 300 Twitter users’ PFPs in Mario Paint and editing every Wario Land game to make Wario into a cat
It's just as I thought: the hands holding the items are all their own unique models, though luckily I don't have to manually import them from the decomp for SoH this time. Bad news is that there are now two separate workflows for the same game

Learning to get custom player models working on the N64 OOT. I remember it being a lot more complicated, but I've successfully got the test Marth model working. Should be just a few adjustments to get any low-poly model I like over Link

I was specifically scanning these film reels, and thought for a second that they would be viewable

Playing Luigi's Mansion, and discovered that objects with Boo-shaped things hiding in them are labeled "What's This?" when searching them in the Game Boy Horror. I don't think I've ever seen this before

Using my newfound DVD-R powers, I can use FreeDVDBoot to run homebrew applications, which includes Memory Card Annihilator to read/write to memory cards. Since the PS2 can read and write PS1 cards, I was able to install an exploit on one and can now run burned PS1 discs

Got a slim PS2 and its laser couldn't read burned DVDs, so I ended up replacing it. It works beautifully now

That "WiiMC" channel enables this thing to play DVDs, which didn't end up happening officially for a few reasons. My burned DVDs are all +RWs, so they don't work, but an old Resident Evil CODE: Veronica promo disc does

GameCube games work as well. I can't exactly press my own GameCube discs, so unmodded Wind Waker will have to do (the "Slugcat" save file name is from Dolphin; I played through to this cutscene to get videos for all the slugcats)

Replaced the laser in my Wii. I'm amazed that it works

Here's the hint in the non-censored version:

I was playing the CERO D version of RE7 (Biohazard 7) and found that the English script was changed for the blood loss death hint, which surprised me

Here's the code I got for Block A with Syfa, as well as the credits:

Castlevania III complete! This game was really hard, but it's definitely my favorite NES game now. It felt really nice to finish each level

Super CastleVania IV complete! This game was hard, but well worth finishing. I highly recommend it

The rotoscoping is very good, as these are the first transcriptions of the original high-quality frames. The combat is excellent, but the lag makes it really frustrating. The DOS version rectified that, so I'd actually recommend that one for a first playthrough and to play the original after

Beat the original Apple II Prince of Persia. It's a very good game, though the timer is very stressful. Level 8 lost me like 10 minutes because I kept dying right at the end (and at various other places in it). It took me three attempts to do right, but it was well worth it

If you want the authentic tiny, hard-to-look-at LCD experience, there are these ridiculous portable VCPs (Video Cassette Players). I think they're meant for car rides, as they resemble portable DVD players and come with a cigarette adapter. The difference is that they play tapes

Got a Game Boy Player. It's really nice to have what's essentially a real Game Boy Advance that can output composite video and audio natively, for both screen size and recording reasons

Lastly, to get this specific cutscene to work, I had to find the cutscene file and change it, since Link's hand in this cutscene is a special model reserved for cutscenes that has posable fingers. Normally, he just switches between a set of hand poses

Since the face is a whole different object, I had to adjust it several times to actually match where his head is. It was worth it, though, because the face is the only part with sprite animation, and I was even able to make his mouth open when shocked/wincing

Since OOT Link uses a lot of small textures (N64 limitations), but Twilight Princess uses larger 128x128 textures, I had to manually cobble together this 128x128 combination of most of OOT Link's textures and readjust all his UVS every time I made a change
