I'm enjoying following threads on generative music this morning. Tero Parviainen's interactive presentation "How Generative Music Works" is delightful.

Lovely interactive article about "How Brian Eno Created Ambient 1: Music for Airports". I didn't know he created his own notation.

I don't have many listeners on Apple Music, but I'm happy Montréal is my Top City for 2025. I'm especially curious about people using Shazam to find my music because where are they hearing it?

Instead of a Christmas single I wrote a Winter Solstice song for my witchy friends and family ❄️

We are gathered in the turning
Where the year bends back to light
Every flame and every yearning
Pulls the sun across the night

This is my sister, Sheri-Lynn Bissonnette. If you know anything at all, please contact me here or the RCMP.

This is extremely out of character and everyone is worried sick.

Contour, my music composition as code Typescript framework, now has two MCP servers to help Claude Code or Github Copilot with music theory and pattern visualization.

Trying out the new #GoogleAntigravity agentic dev environment with Gemini 3 Pro. First impressions are good as it's fast and I really like the Implementation Plan and Walkthrough documents it produces.

Not sure if there's interest, but the first public release of Contour: A TypeScript-first framework for algorithmic and procedural generative music. Build compositions using functional patterns, explore music theory, and create music impossible on physical instruments.

So happy to be reading a new Joe Abercrombie novel. "The Devils" is his first in a few years. He's such a visual and dynamic writer that each chapter is like bingeing and hitting "Next Episode".

PWHL Vancouver Goldeneyes 🤔 I like the colour scheme and glad it's not more blue and green. Don't know why they chose a duck that most don't know or associate with Vancouver. www.thepwhl.com/en/teams/van...

Enjoyed seeing #BlackPhone2 tonight. Different film than the first: dreamy ghost story with artistic visuals and score. Re-uses some tropes but still satisfying.

Experimenting with #ClaudeCode for Web/iOS. I like the interface. Surprised it didn't have access to `gh` to retrieve pr comments and the like. "Open in CLI" teleport is cool but got an error related to a malformed conversation history. I'm still thinking/working sequentially when I don't need to.
