say what you want about Disney's live-action remakes, but one thing that made them appealing was how characters were updated from 2D to 3D—a fairytale come to life. toothless here looks very similar to his animated form, which makes the project feel even more redundant to me idk 🤷🏿♂️

Thinking about how CN/WB/max has a pretty big initiative for future content in 2021 that was pretty much decimated the minute the discovery came into the frame

exactly why I try to keep production into account when critiquing a show. of course, the end product is still the end product at the end of the day but recognizing what caused a show to look a certain way leads to much more productive conversation
Sometimes I see ppl outside the field comparing shows animation and I wish I could go on an hour rant on how the end product is SO DEPENDENT on a pipeline, and sometimes crappy pipelines are forced upon you to by studios, sometimes you’re reinventing one through trial and error..

just bought a chronicles of Narnia box set. i only read the lion, the witch and the wardrobe as a kid but now I really wanna get into it. especially with Greta Gerwig's upcoming adaptation

I don't think I've been excited for an animated show like Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld in a while. I love the story, art direction and character designs so far

I don't think I've been excited for an animated show like Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld in a while. I love the story, art direction and character designs so far
I know we're fearful when it comes to Netflix and it's cancelations but I think this show has serious potential yallll
