The lowest achievers did much better but the highest achievers got a bit worse, while thinking they did better. I need to actually read the paper and not make judgements about a single figure, but that feels like a good encapsulation of the promise/perils of LLM use.

As somebody who works in computer vision/image processing... this is horrifying.

Upscalers in general are interesting and useful tools, but they have no place in law enforcement.
