Zach Nunn made a lot of promises during his campaigns, and he hasn't delivered. Iowans deserve better than a Congressman who says one thing, and does another.

263,000 Iowans are at risk of losing food assistance for November because of Zach Nunn’s inaction. That’s why I signed onto this letter with my colleagues urging Governor Reynolds to take immediate action to help Iowa families. It’s time to stop playing politics with people’s lives.

The impacts of this shutdown are real— government employees are going without pay checks and hungry families might now going to have go without SNAP benefits. And Zach Nunn’s response is typical DC: all talk, no action.

Iowa is at risk of a recession, and brain drain is one of the main reasons why. We need to make Iowa a welcoming place, and a place our kids want to stay. That is what I will fight for in DC.

We are now two weeks into the Government Shutdown with no end in sight, and Zach Nunn is still hiding from his constituents. Working Iowans deserve a representative who will work for them, not billionaires.

We need our politicians to work for Iowans, not just big donors. That’s why I’m running this campaign to put working class Iowans first.
