Sometimes I'm reminded how many authors looked at stuff like The Eclipse and came to the conclusion that the reason it worked is because a lot of characters died. Like, that's almost correct, but if you don't put in any of the work then it's just gonna completely fall flat.

Look, say whatever you want about the women's Blood and Guts build (I don't think it's been as bad as everyone says it is), but seeing that the Jr tag league was won by the champs, who are of course fucking House of Torture, we haven't even begun to approach bad booking yet

AEW has been around for years. you know they don’t do 2 1/2 hour PPVs. you don’t have to watch the preshow, you don’t have to watch the scrum, and you can actually watch later and skip whatever you want to. acting shocked by the runtime every PPV when it’s been this way for years is disingenuous.
