Wen Kexing about to give Ye Baiyi a haircut. Xie'er has a lot of feelings about that, none of which he can express.
"A full head of hair at your age is a gift, and its wasted on you," Wen Kexing mutters. "Stop looking at him. Straight ahead or it’ll end up crooked." Xie'er twists around in time to catch Ye Baiyi averting his gaze, Wen Kexing combing through his hair. Terrifying to see him with a pair of scissors that close to anybody's throat. "Straight ahead," Wen Kexing says again, and turns Ye Baiyi's head for him. "Watch the wind chimes. Pretend they're the freezer."
