Been working on art assets for a while, and as a fun little side thing I added a little random splash text on the title screen!

And in light of recent events related to Doom... why not try it with this?

A quick little update:
I found myself needing to work with icons to represent player input and took a little detour to work on a system for that! It works across scenes and with newly instanced labels.
I even made a crappy showcase too! (Icons are from Kenney's Input Prompts pack) #gamedev #godot

Working on some UI aspects like f̷i̷n̷a̷l̷l̷y̷ adding a pause menu, and having fun with other aspects of the UI.
Also, that cat's name is generated randomly, that's half of another system I'm working on...

The dialogue system is looking a lot better now!
