These opinions are all mine, who's gonna stop me?
Formely of Blaseball. #TTRPG and #DigimonTCG guy. Dabbles in #GameDev of the physical and digital kind. Might make somet'ing of himself someday.
For what it's worth, I think Bsky also pumps the volume on every video posted here to 200%

“Nothing matters because none of it was real” really confirms my belief that The Never Ending Story should be mandatory viewing for people

More games should have to courage to make me make a choice that sucks, and no I’m not joking

Half of TTRPG discourse references some arcane Google+ group I wasn’t a part of cause I was busy being twenty years old, i think this also makes me stupid

God your work is so good but most importantly why HASN'T there been a Sabriel adaptation?

Anyway, we have now moved into "Undead Crime City"

Then when you finally introduce the way to permanently kill someone as a physical object and drop it in the middle of the crime city, you watch as an arms race cottage industry develops around who has The Object, and who just says they have The Object

If everyone is on the assumption we can't permanently die, players immediately try to do all sorts of silly things that only can be done when you can't die permanently. Destiny has a whole substory about death perverts who got really into extreme sports I really liked.

In an active multiplayer environment - lets say, for example, a Multi User Crime City - this is a pretty good include because it solves the issue of "What do we do about player vs player and lethality." Answer: They simply can't permanently put each other down. The keyword there being simply.

My mother in law is gonna try and bring pumpkin pie to this house on Thursday and it will take every ounce of self control to not just slam dunk it right into the trash

The third one that comes to mind for me is writer, but beyond that 🤷🏾‍♂️

I gave this pitch to one of my veteran players who would not be joining and they asked me if I've read The Locked Tomb series, which feels like an endorsement?
