I got a cortisone shot for frozen shoulder a couple of months ago. It was A MIRACLE.
Within a week, I had 75% of my range of motion back and was sleeping through the night without pain/spasms. Within 2 weeks, ROM was >95% back to normal.
An absolutely MIRACLE cure.

My college experience made me really appreciate how MANY different kinds of intelligence there are in the world, and the most valuable kinds cannot be measured by an exam.

🙋♀️Vector Calc, freshman year of college. I got 28% on the first exam, and the high score for the class was a 95%, so no curve to bail me out.
My college was full of valedictorians & salutatorians who didn’t make it to sophomore year.

My kid’s flight was supposed to leave at 7:30 and get home around 9:30-45. Instead, they boarded at 9pm, and they are still sitting on the tarmac, waiting for take-off, two full hours later.
There were DOZEN of planes in line when they pushed back from the gate.

I shared all this with a group of friends, and one of them (who may or may not have thought I was delusional) did some Googling and discovered that the band that did the Solaris Ritual program this year was the same band that did the Metamorphosis program last year. 🤔

The last time I was at the Louvre was 10+ years ago, but I remember noticing how many of the doors and windows seemed to be from the era of the palace’s original construction and barely kept out the weather, let alone provided any sort of security.

Spending time traveling overseas makes you really appreciate how the ADA makes life better for EVERYONE, not just people with disabilities. People with temporary injuries, parents with strollers, people traveling with luggage or transporting heavy work gear, etc, etc, etc.

A friend of mine went to her gym on Saturday morning and was talking about the protest with one of the trainers there. She told him, “I know it’s important that I show up this afternoon, because it’s a lot safer for my demographic than yours.” (She’s a white woman and he’s a black man.)
