My kid has been on a band trip to Disney, and now they’re supposed to be flying home. There are about 80 kids, plus directors & chaperones, so they are traveling in two groups.

My kid’s group has a direct flight home, which is currently showing a 1.5 hour delay. (🤞)

I’m was at local marching band competition this evening, and one of the bands had a ceremonial human sacrifice where the flag corp killed off one of the drum majors.

I know everybody is well-read on WWII so it’s easy to come up with Hitler analogies, but I would propose that there’s plenty of parallels to be drawn from Mao’s willful ineptitude.
