This time it was telegraphed. Caused by the reckless decisions of one moron in charge. It was not a pandemic or complex economic unwinding. We are in unprecedented political times(at least for my lifetime). You do you. You're not wrong. This is a once in a lifetime dose of risk for me.

I very much understand all of what you're saying. This moment in time felt different. I stayed put through the great recession, I stayed through COVID. This felt telegraphed. I understand I took a risk. If we hit 6000 by Wed that's what it is I am back in with little change. If not I'm up.

I know I cant call bottom but I couldn't stay put knowing what was about to happen. If I were still in I would def bunker. I'll ease back in after the dust settles this week. If we go closer to 4600 I'll speed up the rebuy

Mainly index funds. It's really the first time I did any sort of active management. So my returns prior are just market returns. Sp, total. Time horizon is mostly 20 yrs. Nibbling here but wait and see. If a flourish of deals were made this weekend I would have been keen on reentry this week

Or you cashed out as the rapist in chief talked more wildly about tariffs. I took him at his word. And have been sitting in cash since mid February. Why would anyone stay in equities when the man is literally telly you he's gonna tank the market.
