yeah the story is an absolute mess. the combat is honestly pretty fun though. the gameplay breaks like jake's street fighter match and piers electrozap arm were also pretty entertaining.

also you really gotta play it multiplayer. it has really fun two player setpieces that you miss out on solo.

honestly i feel like its biggest problem is that it doesnt really know what to do with the RE characters. jake and sherry had the most entertaining route for me just because it felt like they had room to breathe and do their own thing

its just sort of cathartic to be able to let yourself collapse, i think. it *really* sucks when youre not willing to let the upswing go.

hot take crashing is great when you have someone around. im not gonna say it takes the edge off but forced emotional vulnerability can be pleasant in its own way.
