i really need to know: did they get a judge to sign the arrest warrant? did they do a grand jury indictment?

I heard were doing a meghan mccain retrospective

this is not the worst thing she has ever posted, but it is my personal meghan mccain tweet of all time

so your problem then is that media companies are addressing real issues that are the source of real discontent for actual people, and making money doing so?

it’s a fun game to use different names to see how these propagate to various mailing lists. I emailed sherrod brown’s office (not his campaign, his senate office) and am getting blasted on all sides because of it.

Wow, how exciting! this video answers a question i’ve been wondering for a long time. You say that detroit city is an example of clean voting results. we’ve finally found it, the population that hasn’t rigged our elections, the city where non-dem votes make up less than 10%

i have. i’ve sat with their “findings” for hours. it’s nonsense
January 28, 2026 at 8:59 PM
i looked at my ballot and picked the best candidate in front of me. i’m prgmatic that way
January 28, 2026 at 8:28 PM
no, but there are a lot of ways to convince me to vote for a dem. not every dem has failed to rise to this occasion. i am intensely gettable, but not based on a negative case against the other person.
January 28, 2026 at 8:20 PM
i do surveys, i used to write emails to my dem senator, im perfectly happy to engage with the dems. they just repeatedly tell me that as an organization they do not want to represent my interests
January 28, 2026 at 8:14 PM
i’m not attached to any one political party. if a candidate can make their case for a better future i may vote for them. the dem leadership has pushed the limits of my patience, so they can either correct course in a meaningful way or perish. it is clear the party doesn’t belong to me today
January 28, 2026 at 8:11 PM
i can see that. that is why i’m pointing you towards the issues the party has. now’s the time to demand better out of your representatives. they aren’t rising to the occasion on their own. if you want to help get dems elected, that’s how you can have an impact
January 28, 2026 at 7:38 PM
do you think you’re convincing those non-voters? “i was right all along, next time just shut up and vote”

that’s a losing strategy, look at the poll numbers for how people feel about the democrats. how are you going to reach anyone when everyone hates the party
January 28, 2026 at 7:33 PM
is defending dems by laying the blame on the left going to help their next election? I’m not totally sure where you’re going here
January 28, 2026 at 7:25 PM
I get that. It’s a fair assessment. But if dems want to reach voters they need to credibly do what they say they will. i think the failure to codify roe represents a lot of issues the dems have with getting votes. It’s a really complex issue imo but one worth thinking about if you support the party
January 28, 2026 at 7:02 PM
A hundred thousand primary voters showed up to burn their ballot. that is unheard of. Do you think that doesn’t represent a lot of people who didn’t bother doing that purely symbolic act?
January 28, 2026 at 6:58 PM
He campaigned on it, heavily. When the courts overturn roe, his job is to get legislation to pass. Or make sure every american knows he did everything in his power trying to get legislation. That was what his campaign said they would do, codify roe
January 28, 2026 at 6:56 PM
i dont think it is indifference that caused people to make their voices heard by the hundred thousand during the michigan primary. the people couldn’t have been more clear what they needed
January 28, 2026 at 6:50 PM
i don’t think it’s a case of waiting to be inspired. Biden ran on protecting roe, roe fell under his administration, he did nothing. the dems have burned their credibility on issues they used to control.
January 28, 2026 at 6:47 PM
but i don’t see why you would blame this on people to the left, we didn’t go vote for trump. blame the dems and their hopeless campaign. ask why they committed to a post-election analysis and then buried it when it didn’t say what they liked
January 28, 2026 at 6:44 PM
people want to vote for someone they believe in. kamala struggled to make people believe in her vision for america. i’m sure a lot of people we’re underestimating trump too, he really has ramped up the intensity compared to his first term
January 28, 2026 at 6:43 PM
maybe if you had a candidate that would say they supported a positive vision for gaza and trans rights more people would have voted for her. I don’t have control over the harris campaign tho, sorry
January 28, 2026 at 6:38 PM
don’t blame me, i voted for claudia de la cruz
