So far today, Chuck Schumer has said his strategy for preventing Trump sending troops into blue cities is to win over Republican senators (!) while Hakeem Jeffries praised Eric Adams's courage and authenticity (!!) while refusing to endorse Mamdani. Again.

Since Trump announced those 25% tariffs, it’s like someone lit a fire under Canada, and everyone’s coming together in a way we haven’t seen in years. It’s wild, usually Canadians are pretty divided on politics, but when an external threat like this hits, it’s all hands on deck.

I can only hope these next four years plunge America into darkness, for perhaps then they will awaken to the grim reality that figures like Donald Trump should never wield power again.
