Whereupon she told me to go in the freezer and get out what she would need. Well. I mean. She was on a lot of meds.
BUT NO! The freezer was stacked with Bob Evans mashed potatoes. She threw them in a saucepan with two (2! TWO!) sticks of butter and a dash of garlic powder

I feel like this is truly the secret to a peak Bonkers Cooking Story. it's the delusional confidence. I've never made a turkey but if I was somehow drafted into doing it you know I would be glued to the Butterball Hotline like Jed Bartlet. everyone just vibing their way through this is hysterical
