I'm a year into my four-year PhD course. I'm using a PAR approach with a group of co-researchers.

I keep debrief notes on our meetings and reflect on things more widely, including violence in the academy for trans Autistic students and faculty.

Trans Aware Cancer Care had a gorgeous time starting to sew together our flag.

Over the last year we have spoken and created art with nearly 100 trans+ people & allies. It is our collective artwork that is being sewn into a very large trans flag.

This is a creation of love, connection and hope.
Two individuals from behind sewing different parts of the flag. I am on the right in a green striped dress sewing a laminated piece on to a blue square. Most of the flag is draped over large wooden tables in the foreground and background - its just that big!

I feel that I can be myself at the University more and that others see worth in my ND queer way of being and communicating.

That feels very nice.

The school sickness has finally made its way to us. It's Little Man's first year of school, and we have finally got a school sickness.

A 24-hour bug doesn't mean 24 hours in a #ChronicallyIll household.

Our evenings have been filled with wrestling, Boulders Gate, and feeling sorry for ourselves.

I got a new Pride flag from a festival and have given it to Treebeard to look after.

I got the cutest present from my niece.

She painted this ceramic love heart with her mum in the trans flag colours. Inside are my favourite flowers - lillys.
