True story. Back in the day, I was a damn good skier. Spent the 1988-89 ski season as a lift op at Keystone (Summit County, Colorado). Phone pic of a print photos, hence the shadows.

Yep, this is what it boils down to ... subsidies for the Affordable Care Act. My wife and son are on it, and I'm not prepared for the 2026 cost updates. It'll make inflation look like a fluffy kitty.

One of our beloved cats, Tasha, has been declining in health, but it went downhill so rapidly over the past ten or so days that 'letting her go' was an inevitable decision today. Tasha gave us 16 wonderful years of memories. She'd sleep by my pillow. Tonight will be hard without her there.
