It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life

Nowhere close to complete and it needs a fair amount of refining, but I'm pretty happy with the way this little mousling warrior is coming along.

A little behind (about an hour into episode three), but my goodness, I'm loving Campaign 4 of Critical Role. We're just barely setting the scene, but the characters and setting are incredible, and the machinations are so intriguing. Really excited to see where this goes.

We've been diving into horror films as we approach Halloween. On Monday we watched "Totally Killer" which is essentially "Back to the Future" given a horror make over. Loved it. It brings the 80s nostalgia, while calling out some of the problematic aspects of the decade. Plus, it's just pure fun.

Of course, there were games like Sonic, but I can't even begin to count the hours I spent playing Kid Chameleon back in the day. Did all those hours translate into beating the game? Absolutely not. But I still loved it.
