The discussions around piracy is not just about access in the present tense or sense. It will ALWAYS be tied intrinsically to discussions around censorship in our public spheres and the violence of the archives that erase us over and over and over again.

I didn’t have access to libraries full of queer literature. I didn’t have parents who would let me check those books out if I did. When you add race, class, and caste to that discussion you can’t escape the immense amounts of privilege you have to have to be militant about this.
