A few years ago I reported on the cleaning cycles of a Thermo instrument (Q-Exactive HF-X). This is particularly important in core facilities where high throughput and consistent quality are required.
Now I would like to report briefly on the OrbiTrap Astral: Installation was done 1 year ago!

How quickly time flies?

Incredibly grateful and in awe to be working at one of the best places for science worldwide, the Vienna BioCenter. I am looking forward to new, exciting but also challenging projects.

As pointed out by Alejandro you can find my evaluation data. We were just a little surprised when I suddenly had over 7000 protein groups as a result in my Astral data (SCP - HeLa).I could not trust my own results
