Turned this fan on last night. It tripped a fuse and smelt like I'd struck a match. Is there anything likely to be repairable inside it? It's some years old: I think I acquired it second hand in about 2010.

Learnt something new this evening. The arms of my glasses contain a gel that's a bit like serous fluid in texture and pus in colour. Somehow one side started leaking into my hair and face without me noticing.

So, I think that puts 45% of my voice in the shared range of pitches men and women use if we trust the app's accuracy. Any other cis people used these kinds of apps? Incubating an argument that relies on the app being reasonably correct.

*stares at own body* - it's April, with the weather forecast for a cloudy 16 degrees on Sat and I'm still mildly burnt from a cold of hours outside:-/ (thought it wasn't hot enough to burn / my clothing covered more than it did).

What are the current recommendations for blisters? A blister plaster won't stick where this one is. I have to walk a bit tomorrow, but not very far. (Ignore the big toe - it feels fine though looks odd in the picture).

Looking for suggestions as to why my face is as red as it is in these pictures. I had been walking around the town centre and took these pictures on getting back into the car. (My guess is rosacea, I'm looking for alternative suggestions).
