We were all rather surprised at how strong we were compared to the average lower level enemy, even at level 8.

Swashbuckler Rogue managed to do enough damage to utterly overkill one of the mooks off rip *without* even rolling damage. That damage spilled onto the guy next to him, taking them both out in one shot.
Barbarian's wild mage Rage effect completely blew away one of the mooks surrounding him.

We opened on combat this session against a mini boss we'd seen once before, and quickly realised that our party might be a touch overpowered. I'd beat the boss on a high initiative roll and dived into their formation, completely disrupting their formation from the get go.
